For the longest time, the homeless issue seemed so large and so unfixable that I just ignored it...

I figured I couldn't do anything to make a difference, so why bother?

Then I had an epiphany...

I realized that my involvement might not even make a tiny dent in the issue at large...

But, it definitely can and will make a difference to Ramon...and ultimately that's what matters.

That's when #ONE was born, and our partnership with incredible organizations like SDRM and Baja Bound began.

MEET D'RAY

D'Ray Brown's story begins where hope was hard to find. Raised by a single mother, pulled into addiction, D’Ray’s world was a cycle of burned bridges and lost support. At rock bottom, with nowhere left to turn, he walked through the doors of the San Diego Rescue Mission, determined to rewrite his story. Through a year of grit, healing, and personal growth, D’Ray rebuilt his life from the ground up, mending family ties and finding his purpose in helping others break free from addiction.

The next chapter opened the day D’Ray received the WeRevive Housing Scholarship. In a room filled with tears and pride, his mother watched her son stand tall, ready for a future once thought impossible. That scholarship, funded through our #ONE Campaign, didn’t just put a roof over D’Ray’s head - it gave him a foundation to lead, inspire, and offer hope to others. At WeRevive, we believe every home we revive is the start of a new story, and D’Ray’s is a testament to just how far that ripple can reach.
